Agricultural and food production faces significant challenges due to the need to achieve compliance with "Zero Hunger" and to meet sustainable development objectives established by FAO. As a result, technologies focused on food production must increase efficiency, adding additional value to the manufacturing system while protecting natural resources and the environment, promoting sustainable economic growth, and encouraging people to adopt these new challenges. We'll discuss these tensions at the Thirteenth International Conference on Food Studies and consider strategies to balance needs, technological opportunities, and the challenges of climate change.
