A Network of Networks

The Food Studies Research Network is part of Common Ground Research Networks, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to building inclusive, collaborative, and ethically grounded communities of knowledge. Through its conferences, journals, and books, the Network affirms that food connects every dimension of human life—environmental, social, and cultural.

Our Networks

Common Ground Research Networks curates twenty-four networks that cross a wide range of topics — from design, to technology, to sports and beyond. We produce conferences, journals, and books around each of these networks, creating opportunities for cross-institutional collaboration and documenting the knowledge the network creates. We’re proud to be an independent organization, allowing us to create truly open spaces for scholarly dialogue.
