Virtual sessions are designed for presenters who are not able to be present in-person at the conference.
To submit a proposal for a Virtual Lightning Talk or Virtual Poster, visit the Call for Papers. Once you have an accepted proposal and a completed registration, you can begin the steps below to prepare for your session.

All virtual presentations must be submitted no later than one month prior to the conference – 26 September 2017
Changes to your presentation after 26 September 2017 will not be reflected in the program. We suggest submitting your presentation early to ensure there are no issues during submission. If you have any questions or issues, contact us.
Connect with Research Network members across the globe
As a Virtual Presenter, you have the benefit of engaging with scholars and academics from all corners of the globe. Along with members of The Food Studies Research Network and all in-person and virtual conference participants, you can use your Scholar account and Community profile to meet peers, share your presentation, share published work, and initiate knowledge and learning conversations, with optional feeds to Facebook and Twitter.
